    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Michael Palascak is a comedian who grew up in Indiana and now lives in LA. He performed on both The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in the same year. He has over 1 million views on YouTube. In addition, his resume includes A Little Late with Lilly Singh, The Tonight Show, Letterman, Craig FergusonConan, has a Comedy Central Half Hour special, and was a Top 5 Finalist on Last Comic Standing where one judge claimed, “My first impression of Michael was a great likability. This is a guy that could star in a sitcom.” Michael’s likability allows him to relate to his audiences in a real way which sets up the huge laughs he gets from his sharp, personal material.

Consistently writing and performing, last summer Michael released both a new album - The Internet Live through 800 Pound Gorilla and a new stand-up special on the Dry Bar app - 1984. Both are available for free streaming. Drew Hunt of The Chicago Reader wrote about Michael, “In a lot of ways, he represents the ideal antidote to the sort of unbridled cynicism that pervades much of contemporary stand-up.” Michael’s optimism continues in the new National Lampoon series, The Bright Side, where he takes a positive stance on a negative topic streaming on YouTube.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

It’s hard to imagine a band just coming into their own after 20 years of success, but that’s exactly what makes a true anomaly. This multi-national, Celtic juggernaut grows stronger with each live performance, and as you can imagine, after two decades and over 2000 shows, it is a true force to be reckoned with. With their latest release, Go Climb a Tree, their music has never sounded more representative of themselves as musicians and as live performers.

The band attributes their continued success to their fanatic audience, and it’s a well-diversified crowd for sure. The country-music folks adore the storytelling, the bluegrass-heads love the instrumentals, Celtic fans love their devotion to tradition, and the rockers simply relish the passion they play their instruments with. Each band member, in their own way, expresses a deep gratitude for their fans, but it’s best summed up in the words of founding member Patrick Murphy: “The fans are the ones that have given us this life. We’re here for them.”

Gaelic Storm takes a true blue-collar, hard-nose approach to touring, consistently traveling the US and internationally over 200 days a year, forging a unique path in the Celtic music world. The dedication to live shows dates all the way back to the mid-1990s, when Gaelic Storm kicked off its career as a pub band in Santa Monica, California. Due to their discovery at the pub, by the end of the decade, the musicians had appeared in the blockbuster film Titanic (where they performed “Irish Party in Third Class”). This laid the groundwork for a career that would eventually find them topping the Billboard World Chart six times, making appearances at mainstream music festivals, and regularly headlining the largest Irish Festivals across the country, all the while gaining a reputation as a genre-bending Irish rock band, whose songs mix Celtic traditions with something uniquely creative.

Looking to the future, Gaelic Storm is excited about what lies ahead. In 2022, they were excited to welcome Natalya Kay, an incredible fiddler hailing from Western Massachusetts, but living now in Music City, Nashville, TN. Natalya's energy and presence on stage has been a force to be reckoned with.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Janis Siegel and her long-time Musical Director and pianist of The Manhattan Transfer, Yaron Gershovsky, celebrate their brand new recording release of legendary songwriter Cy Coleman's The Colors Of My Life. The duo created such memorable moments with The Manhattan Transfer including Corner Pocket and many others!

Over the past five decades, the voice of Janis Siegel, a ten-time GRAMMY® winner and eighteen-time GRAMMY nominee, has been an undeniable force in The Manhattan Transfer's musical catalogue. Alongside her career as a founding member of this musical institution, Siegel has also sustained a solo career that has spawned almost a dozen finely crafted solo albums and numerous collaborative projects.

Janis' unmistakable voice has become one of The Manhattan Transfer's most recognizable trademarks. She sang lead on some of their biggest hits, such as "Operator," "Chanson D'Amour," "Twilight Zone," "Birdland," "The Boy From New York City," "Spice of Life," "Ray's Rockhouse," "The Shaker Song," and "Mystery. She co-wrote and sang lead on the GRAMMY-winning "Sassy." She also gained a reputation as a vocal arranger by writing five of the charts for the group's acclaimed masterwork, Vocalese, seven charts for the group's GRAMMY-winning album Brasil, and won a GRAMMY herself in 1980 for her vocal arrangement of "Birdland." These days, you can find Janis in the studio, producing various ventures for other artists and singing on a diverse array of projects, touring with her trio, teaching at NYU and other universities, and joining forces with alto Lauren Kinhan from New York Voices in Vocal Gumbo, a monthly virtual music program born during the pandemic.

Her 10th solo CD, released on Palmetto Records, is called Nightsongs and her four most recent solo collaborations are Honey & Air, a Brazilian/jazz vocal adventure with her group Requinte Trio, along with percussionist Nanny Assis and pianist John di Martino and Some Other Time, a tribute to Leonard Bernstein with trombonist/singer Nils Landgren with arrangements by Vince Mendoza, Mazel, a Yiddish songbook with Cantor Daniel Kramer, Vox Humana, a brand new album of Big Band Latin jazz with Bobby Sanabria and The Multiverse Jazz Orchestra, a new Cy Coleman project, The Colors Of My Life with pianist Yaron Gershovsky, and Cryin In My Whiskey, a collection of classic country with a jazz sensibility.

Minneapolis songwriter Mason Jennings‘ brand new album, Underneath The Roses, is out now via Loosegroove Records. Jennings writes that the songs from the new album were, “Written in an unprecedented burst,” following the birth of his son, Western, in March 2022. Jennings explains, “I hadn’t written any songs in about a year. I had been dealing with the psychological after effects of the pandemic as well as the loss of my dad. So, when Western was born I didn’t expect to be writing much. But immediately he was responding to music in a very intense way. For this album, between May and November 2022, I wrote 48 songs! They certainly uplifted me and connected me with the creative spirit, and spirit in general, again. They cover all kinds of ground but, when I listen back, I think the central theme is overcoming fear with love.”

Stone Gossard and Regan Hagar from Loosegroove Records helped edit the 48 down to 11. He then enlisted the help of his Painted Shield bandmates to record the songs.

Jenning’s previous album Real Heart came out in January 2022 and received Triple/Non-comm radio across KCMP Minneapolis, WFPK Louisville, WPYA Birmingham, KRCL Salt Lake City, WMMM Madison, WQKL Ann Arbor, KCSN LA, KRVB Boise, WCLZ Portland, WDSE Duluth, WRLT Nashville, WXPN Philly, WXRV Boston, & WZEW Mobile.

Mason Jennings is "One of the best singer songwriters you've never heard of." (Rolling Stone)

British rock band “The Sweet “aka “Sweet” rose to worldwide fame in the 1970s as one of the top three Glam Rock acts of its era. This movement carved out a decade of new style and horizons for both music and fashion. “The Sweet’s” influence has been touted and revered across many genres, from Boy George to Kiss, to Poison to Guns N’ Roses.

The band achieved huge success with 39 #1 singles around the globe including “Ballroom Blitz,” “Fox On the Run” “Love Is Like Oxygen,” “Little Willy,” “No You Don’t,” “Blockbuster,” “Action,” “Teenage Rampage,” “AC/DC” and many more.

Decades later, the late great founder Steve Priest came out of retirement to put together his version of how he wanted his legacy to be presented and preserved into the future. After hearing drummer Richie Onori and keyboardist Stevie Stewart, he was sold that he had finally found the perfect chemistry to forge ahead in honor of his fallen comrades. The three of them enlisted two more top-caliber musicians who could equally capture and deliver with the same intensity and prowess that his original lineup did. They were off to the races, performing around the globe.

Currently, Stevie and Richie’s talented line-up proudly features the amazing Patrick Alan Stone on lead vocals, blazing guitarist Jimmy Burkhard and the keyboard wizardry of Dave Shultz. “The Sweet,” and its new blazing hot fun-packed audience-corralling show, is capturing the hearts and minds of a whole new generation of fans.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

The band that launched the career of Janis Joplin, Big Brother and the Holding Company – along with bands like The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and Quicksilver Messenger Service – is considered one of the original, first wave of great psychedelic bands that came out of San Francisco in the summer of 1965. The Monterey Pop Festival in the summer of 1967 was the moment when Big Brother and its lead singer Janis Joplin blew open the collective mind of the audience and rose to the top of the Rock music hierarchy. That same audience discovered Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding and several other artists that were destined to take rock music to the next level.

In 1968, Big Brother signed with Columbia Records and Albert Grossman (Bob Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary, etc) became their manager. They went into the recording studio and produced the album that many consider their masterpiece and one of the greatest albums of all time: Cheap Thrills. The album quickly rose to #1 on the charts and stayed there for eight weeks. With recognition as one of the greatest albums of all time by the Library of Congress, the Grammy Hall of Fame, and Rolling Stone magazine, Big Brother and the Holding Company's album Cheap Thrills is an important piece of American music history.

Featuring original members Peter Albin (bass guitar, vocals, songwriter) and Dave Getz (drum, vocals, songwriter), Big Brother and the Holding Company will also feature Tommy Odetto (guitar, vocals), Tom Finch (guitar, vocals) and singer Sophia Ramos on lead vocals.

Born in the Bronx, New York, Sophia cut her teeth as a member of the NYC hard rock band Sophia’s Toy with a commanding, snarling stage presence. Named “Best Undiscovered Artist” by VH1, she has collaborated with the likes of Metallica’s Jason Newstead, Psychotica, and Joey Ramone, and performed as vocalist with an incredible variety of artists, including Screaming Headless Torsos, Gov’t Mule, Rod Stewart, Jennifer Hudson and Jefferson Starship.

As the keyboardist for the legendary Boston band and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, The Cars, Greg Hawkes forged the sound of rock’s New Wave. Pioneering and pushing the limits of technology and sequencing in the late 70s and through the 80s, Greg cemented the synthesizer's place in rock and pop music, and his contribution has influenced countless artists since. Along with achieving Rock & Roll Hall of Fame status and massive commercial success with The Cars, Greg has been a sought-after session and touring musician, and has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, Todd Rundgren, and The Turtles.

The Cars were named Best New Artist in the 1978 Rolling Stone Readers' Poll. The band's debut album, The Cars, sold six million copies and appeared on the Billboard 200 album chart for 139 weeks. The Cars had four Top 10 hits: "Shake It Up" (1981), "You Might Think," (1984), "Drive" (1984), and "Tonight She Comes" (1985). The band won Video of the Year for "You Might Think" at the first MTV Video Music Awards in 1984.

In 2016, Greg collaborated with the acclaimed Boston band Eddie Japan to produce their 2017 album Golden Age. This eventually led to Greg and the band joining forces to create a night of music by The Cars featuring a set list curated by Greg. Since 2019, Greg Hawkes with Eddie Japan Performing the Music of The Cars has been thrilling audiences across the Northeast with an energetic show that includes hits and deeper cuts from The Cars songbook, along with special selections relating to Greg’s amazing musical career.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Jay Siegel’s Tokens were introduced to the world with their first hit single, “Tonight I Fell In Love,” in 1961. Soon after, the group landed at #1 with their signature song, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” In 1994, that song returned to the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart when it was featured in Disney’s The Lion King and re-released as part of a unique compilation of twenty of The Tokens' earlier tunes, giving fans a rare opportunity to enjoy many of the songs The Tokens wrote more than thirty years ago, as well as songs popularized by other artists which The Tokens later recorded in their own distinctive style.

That style and sound is elegantly defined by Jay Siegel, original lead singer and founding member, whose tenor lead and trademark falsetto have characterized all of The Tokens’ music since the group began recording, and continues to do so today as Jay Siegel’s Tokens (with Gabe Dassa and Kurt Yaghjian).

Few people know of the other projects Jay and the Tokens were a part of. The Tokens were the production geniuses behind numerous hits by The Chiffons, Tony Orlando and Dawn, The Happenings, Randy and the Rainbows and Robert John. They sang backup vocals for such artists as Del Shannon, Melissa Manchester, Connie Francis, The Blues Project, Mac Davis & Bob Dylan. The Tokens were also successful in the commercial realm, performing in ad campaigns for Clairol, General Foods, Wrigley's gum, Eastern, Pan Am, TWA and United Airlines, Cool Whip, Etch A Sketch, Wendy's, KFC and Sleep Number Bed.

Today, Jay Siegel’s Tokens continue to tour the world, bringing their classic sound and timeless hits to fans both old and new.

Who can forget the incomparable music of the Carpenters? The popular brother/sister duo of the 70s and early 80s gave us some of the most unforgettable ballads and melodic pop songs of all time.

Fronted by singer Debbie Taylor, her Karen Carpenter vocal resemblance is absolutely astonishing. She is backed by a seven-piece band consisting of top-notch, professional industry musicians who have had amazing careers in their own right. The band members are all multi-instrumentalists and at times use three keyboards to recreate the incredibly complex arrangements created by Richard Carpenter. The attention to detail paired with saxophone, trumpet, flute and many more instruments complete every song to perfection!

This Carpenters Tribute Band brings the most authentic versions of the Carpenters music to the stage. No doubt, you will be singing along as they perform hits like; “Close To You,” “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Rainy Days And Mondays,” “Please Mr. Postman” and “Yesterday Once More,” to name a few. Debbie captures the warm tones and contralto range that made Karen’s voice so unique. Sit back and enjoy as Debbie and her band take you on a nostalgic journey through the Carpenters greatest hits while sharing some of the backstories behind the music.

Ryan Coleman, a Bucks County native and Penn State Class of 2020 alum, stunned during his blind audition and TV debut onNBC's The Voice on March 11. Coleman’s country-rock rendition of Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine” was powerful enough to make pop-country duo Dan+Shay turn their chair.

While learning to play the guitar in second grade, Coleman instantaneously developed a love for music. Growing up on a farm, Coleman mostly listened to country music yet felt a connection to the R&B and soul singer Bill Withers. Although they have different styles of singing, Coleman said he can relate to Withers’ path in the music industry.

With his strong work ethic and love of good country music, the future looks bright for Ryan Coleman.

From London’s West End, to being a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent, Peter Antoniou has been astounding audiences around the world with his uncanny abilities. His shows fuse stunning feats of mind-reading with storytelling, razor sharp wit, and improvisational comedy to create unique live entertainment experiences. Funny, engaging, and interactive, Peter will leave you questioning just what is really possible.

At age nine, Peter decided he wanted superpowers. So, in a way only a child can, he set out to learn the impossible: how to read people’s minds. Twenty years later, he has studied with psychologists, hypnotists, psychics, magicians, and shamans to develop his uncanny and unique abilities.

Combined with a background in improvisational comedy, Peter answers the question, “What if, rather than starting X-men, Professor X pursued a career in entertainment?”

Quickly becoming a smash hit, Peter’s work has been seen around the world, in such prestigious venues as The Royal Albert Hall, the world-famous Hippodrome Casino, The Edinburgh Playhouse, and many more. He was also a semi-finalist on Season 16 of America’s Got Talent. He now tours internationally with his ‘psychic’ comedy show, performing for blue chip companies and sell-out theatre crowds.

Appealing to traditional and progressive acoustic music fans alike, The Ruta Beggars combine bluegrass and early swing to create a timeless act filled with intricate vocal harmonies, fiery instrumentals, and plenty of fun. They have been praised for their creative yet tasteful arrangements and charming performances, winning Thomas Point’s band competition in 2019.

Best-of-friends since their inception, The Ruta Beggars are Micah Nicol (guitar), Sofia Chiarandini (fiddle), Ariel Wyner (mandolin), Trevin Nelson (banjo), and Noah Harrington (bass) who met while studying in Berklee College of Music's American Roots Program.
