    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Swedish musical sensation Gunhild Carling is an internationally acclaimed superstar whose show is a can’t-miss event! Whether she’s singing favorite swinging jazz standards, playing one of many 11 instruments (trumpet, trombone, harmonica, oboe, harp, flute, recorder, or jazz bagpipe!) or juggling and tap dancing, Gunhild’s sublime showmanship shines. And just wait for the finale – spoiler alert – she plays three trumpets at once!

She performed with her 'Carling Big Band' at the Royal Palace in Stockholm in the celebration for King Carl XVI Gustaf's Ruby Jubilee. Performing such great memorable vintage songs such as "Minnie the Moocher," "Sweet Georgia Brown," "All of Me," "It Had to Be You," and an endless repertoire of songs, Gunhild masterfully takes you back to another era like a time machine.

Between touring with her own band, she performs in several configurations from solo to orchestra to symphony and as a featured singer and multi-instrumentalist in several of Postmodern Jukebox's songs, including a 1920s jazz swing version of "Material Girl," and a 1920s hot jazz cover of ABBA's "Dancing Queen.” Gunhild Carling keeps serenading audiences in the US and all around the world today. She has over 3 million views from social media earning her a silver award from YouTube.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

As the child of Country music royalty, Pam Tillis was determined from a young age to find her own way in music as a singer and songwriter. After much soul searching, Tillis made the commitment to make an honest country record. The album Put Yourself In My Place yielded 2 number ones, 2 top five singles, and one top twenty hit, and in its first year the album was certified gold. Tillis followed with 3 platinum albums on Arista Homeward Looking Angel in 1992, Sweethearts Dance in 1994 and an Arista Greatest Hits in 1997. Tillis achieved 6 number 1 songs during this time including “Shake the Sugar Tree,” “Mi Vida Loca,” “When You Walk In The Room,” “In Between Dances,” “Don’t Tell Me What To Do” and “Maybe It Was Memphis,” while 14 of Pam’s other singles landed in the top ten and top twenty.

Pam Tillis fell in love with music at an early age. Growing up, Pam was in a variety of bands, spanning from jazz and alternative country to top 40. She sang demos and lent her voice to many national advertising jingles. She worked as a staff writer for several publishing companies which resulted in her songs being recorded by some of the biggest names throughout all genres of music.

Pam has performed on Broadway, modeled on the pages of Glamour Magazine and is a proud member of The Grand Ole Opry. She is a 3-time CMA award winner, a 9-time Academy of Country Music Award nominee, a 2-time Grammy award winner and 6-time nominee, and an American Music Awards nominee. Pam also has a 2004 IBMA award win for Recorded Event Of The Year “Livin’ Lovin’ Losin’” and a 2012 IBMA Song Of The Year nomination for co-writing Dale Ann Bradley’s “Somewhere South Of Crazy”.

Though Pam has rolled easily with the tides and has drawn something from every new twist the ever-changing country music world has shown her, Pam Tillis has always insisted on writing and cutting songs that speak from the soul. Whether it’s on the elaborate stages of the Grand Ole Opry or in the intimate setting of Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, Pam Tillis singing exactly what she is meant to sing at that moment.

There’s a gonna be whole lot of shakin’ going on!

Get ready for a night of rockabilly, country, gospel and pure 1950s rock and roll with One Night in Memphis, a high energy concert that takes you back to December 4, 1956, the night when four of the biggest names in early rock and roll - Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash - gathered together for an impromptu jam session at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis.

Created and directed by John Mueller from the highly acclaimed show, “Winter Dance Party,” this show has met with the same accolades, sell out shows and audience standing ovations. The show gets off to a rocking start with Carl Perkins. Midway through his set, Carl invites session musician Jerry Lee Lewis to join him and the Killer seizes the opportunity to front the band and lead the audience on a musical journey from New Orleans to Nashville and eventually into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame. As Jerry Lee puts the finishing touches on his set, the audience will have an opportunity to catch their breath as Johnny Cash is welcomed to the stage with his signature “Hello, I’m Johnny Cash.” And then the musical journey through Cash’s timeless catalog. Next up…Elvis Presley, who electrifies the audience and transports them back to his beginnings where he went from driving a truck to delivering eleven #1 hits between 1956 -1959.

This tribute to that memorable night in Memphis when Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis recorded at Sam Phillips' Sun Studios features nationally acclaimed cast members who have an uncanny sound, look and feel of the original legends. The production also features an authentic and energetic rockabilly backup band. You will feel like you are a witness to a rock and roll royalty jam session with the legendary performers whose music has stood the test of time.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Guitar virtuoso Stanley Jordan has consistently displayed a chameleonic musical persona of openness, imagination, versatility and maverick daring. Be it bold reinventions of classical masterpieces or soulful explorations through pop-rock hits, to blazing straight ahead jazz forays and ultramodern improvisational works - solo or with a group - Jordan can always be counted on to take listeners on breathless journeys into the unexpected.

Key to Jordan's fast-track acclaim was his mastery of a special technique on the guitar's fretboard. Instead of conventional strumming and picking, Jordan's innovative "touch technique" is an advanced form of two-handed tapping. A classically trained pianist before playing guitar, Jordan wanted greater freedom in voicing chords on his guitar, so he applied piano principles to do so. This technique allows him to play melody and chords simultaneously with an unprecedented level of independence. It also allows Jordan to play simultaneously on two different guitars, or even on guitar and piano.

Stanley Jordan is committed to music as an artistic, spiritual, and even health-promoting endeavor. He has been immersed for more than a decade in music therapy, towards which he is now working for a master's degree at Arizona State University. His involvement with music therapy leads him to do outreach in schools, hospitals and other venues wherever he tours. He is an artist-spokesperson for the American Music Therapy Association, and he has done numerous lectures and demonstrations on the healing applications of music.

Jordan has maintained an extensive and consistent international touring schedule. In between tour stops he is now at work on his next highly anticipated album from Mack Avenue Records, for release next year.

The live event will exhilarate audiences as he is joined on stage by Michael Dutko (Gary Hoey) on bass and Leah Bluestein (Eagles of Death Metal) on drums. The mesmerizing multimedia production is further enhanced with virtual all-star guest appearances on three video screens including: Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater); Arthur Brown (Crazy World of Arthur Brown); Dave Bainbridge (Strawbs, Iona); Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns ‘n Roses, Sons of Apollo, Asia); Peter Zay (New Bedford Symphony Orchestra); and Simon Fitzpatrick (ELP Legacy, Jennifer Batten).

This unique show features a live band performance of the full score played in sync with the movie, plus two additional LED screens for multimedia onstage guest performances from some of the biggest names in classic and progressive rock. Don’t miss this Halloween event featuring live music, classic horror and some of the biggest names in progressive rock.

    About The MovIe:

A little over 100 years ago, Nosferatu, an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, was released. It was the very first vampire film and one of the first horror films ever made. Stoker's heirs sued over the adaptation, and a court ruling ordered all copies of the film to be destroyed. However, several prints of the film survived, and it came to be regarded as an influential masterpiece of cinema and the horror genre. The movie was banned in Sweden until 1972 due to excessive horror.

The original score was composed by Hans Erdmann and performed by an orchestra at the film's Berlin premiere. However, most of the score has been lost, and what remains is only a partial adapted suite. Therefore, throughout the history of Nosferatu screenings, many composers and musicians have written or improvised their own soundtrack to accompany the film.

The New York Times called Buffalo, NY born Willie Nile "one of the most gifted singer-songwriters to emerge from the New York scene in years." Uncut Magazine called him “A one-man Clash” and “the unofficial poet laureate of New York City." His album Streets Of New York was hailed as “a platter for the ages” by Uncut. Rolling Stone listed The Innocent Ones as one of the Top Ten Best Under-The-Radar Albums of 2011 and BBC Radio called it “THE rock ‘n’ roll album of the year.” His single from that album, “One Guitar,” was the “Top Pick of the Week” in USA Today.

Willie has toured across the U.S. with The Who and has sung with Bruce Springsteen and Ringo Starr. As the induction program from the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame says: “His live performances are legendary.”

His recent studio album The Day The Earth Stood Still features a duet with Steve Earle on the song “Blood On Your Hands.” Last fall Willie released a new single, “Wake Up America”, a duet with Steve Earle. It’s a call for the better angels of the country to stand up and be counted. He is currently working on a “Best Of” compilation for release in spring and is doing some career retrospective shows here and there leading up to its release.

Since 2017, Mark Rogers has released a remarkable catalog of melodic Indie Pop/Folk Rock music.  In 2024, he will present his third and unmistakably, best album yet: 30 Minutes from Water Street. Mark Rogers demonstrates unique songwriting abilities with lyrical storylines that invite and compel the listener.  Although you’ll recognize his utilization of some of the best elements of California and British classic rock, Mark is far from a retro act.  His infectious chord changes and harmonies, while they may both surprise and ring familiar, serve as guideposts into some fairly diverse musical terrain.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

There’s a reason why Ricky Skaggs pulled Eric and Leigh Gibson off the stage at the Ryman two decades ago and offered to produce their debut record. The Gibson Brothers are the real deal. They can pick. They can sing. And they can write a damn good country song. They’ve won about every bluegrass award you can name and released albums on almost every premier Americana label you can think of and their songs have been recorded by bluegrass legends no less than Del McCoury. It’s a resume almost anybody in country music would be proud to have. But despite all of this, the Gibson Brothers are not yet household names. Their latest album, Darkest Hour, produced by dobro master Jerry Douglas might just change that.

As soon as you hear Leigh Gibson singing with Alison Krauss on the new project you realize that his voice is as good as anyone in music today. Add the brother harmony to that and they have something truly unique. While Mockingbird featured gorgeous production, recreating the sound on stage was difficult. Jerry Douglas—who has won 14 Grammy awards and backed up everyone from Ray Charles to Paul Simon and George Jones—wanted to make a record they could actually play on the road. He picked the best songs (out of dozens) and squirreled them away. But then the pandemic hit. They cut all of the acoustic stuff and then went home and didn't play any more gigs until things started opening. They went back and finished the record with Douglas in February of 2021. The result is arguably the strongest record The Gibson Brothers have ever made.

One of the most multi-faceted minds in roots music, Alison Brown is a Grammy-winning musician, Grammy-nominated producer, former investment banker (with an AB from Harvard and an MBA from UCLA), and co-founder of The Compass Records Group which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023.

Although Alison began her musical career as a teenager in the Southern California bluegrass scene, she has built a reputation as one of today’s most forward thinking and innovative banjo players. She is known for taking the instrument far beyond its Appalachian roots by blending bluegrass and jazz influences into a sonic tapestry that has earned praise and recognition from a variety of national tastemakers including The Wall Street Journal, CBS Sunday Morning, NPR, and USA Today.

On her new release, aptly titled On Banjo, Alison continues her musical explorations on a set of original compositions that explore the range of the banjo. The album features an eclectic cast of collaborators including Steve Martin, Kronos Quartet, Sharon Isbin, Anat Cohen, Sierra Hull, Stuart Duncan and members of the Alison Brown Quintet.

Alison is the recipient of the USA Artists Fellowship in Music and the Distinguished Achievement Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association. In 2019, she was inducted into the American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame. Alison serves on the Board of Governors of the Recording Academy and as co-chair of the Steve Martin Banjo Prize.

With a collection of 21 albums it’s no wonder Gary Hoey is listed as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. The world renowned rock guitarist’s first break came in 1987 when Ozzy Osbourne liked Hoey’s tape enough to fly him to LA for an audition and encouraging him to move to the West Coast. In 1990 Hoey was signed to Reprise Records with a short lived band called Heavy Bones, but followed up in 1993 with a solo album, and Gary’s cover of “Hocus Pocus” rocketed into the Billboard’s Top 5 Rock Tracks. He went on to score the successful Endless Summer II soundtrack for New Line Cinema and in 1995 started a trilogy of Ho!Ho!Hoey, a collection of instrumental Christmas classics that continues each year in his Rockin’ Holiday shows. And in 2013’s release, Deja Blues, he came home to the blues. Gary’s release in 2016, Dust & Bones, displayed an exuberant fusion of blues and rock. But whatever style he plays, one thing is certain, Gary Hoey is a fiery, charismatic player who connects with the crowd.

Whether he’s playing scorching originals or classic rock covers, his solos are thrilling and reminiscent of Clapton or Stevie Ray in their fiery youth. One thing that remains consistent is Hoey’s impassioned command of the guitar. He can attack his instrument with feral intensity and then play something very soft and achingly beautiful. This ability to mix feeling, phrasing, technique and tone is the true mark of a master guitarist.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

For the past 23 years, Chris Knight has only made music his own way. He’s released eight acclaimed albums, played thousands of electrifying live shows and built generations of fervent fans from Texas honky-tonks to Manhattan rock clubs. He’s been hailed as “the last of a dying breed…a taciturn loner with an acoustic guitar and a college degree” (The New York Times) and “a storyteller in the best traditions of Mellencamp and Springsteen” (USA Today). Bottom line, he’s hard-earned his reputation as one of America’s most uncompromising and respected singer/songwriters. And now with Almost Daylight, Knight delivers the most powerful – and unexpected – music of his career.

Singer-songwriter Chris Knight remains boldly empowered to make music that always delivers the unflinching truth. In fact, the man raised in Slaughters, Kentucky uses a simple, direct barometer to regularly check his muse: “If I can’t believe myself, I won’t sing the song.” That brutally honest, no-frills philosophy fits his Americana-fueled, backwoods-grown merger of folk, country, and rock.

Because Knight’s music has always sat outside of the mainstream, onstage is where he makes his fans one show at a time. It is exactly where his searing tales of rural characters, fringe survivors, and tumultuous small-town existence find a captivated audience. What Knight writes about is what he knows. He was raised in mining country, so it’s no surprise that he would earn a degree in agriculture from Western Kentucky University and then work as a mine reclamation inspector and then miner’s consultant. But eventually his passion for writing songs and playing guitar, both inspired by his musical hero, the late John Prine, led him to chronicle his surroundings in words and music.

It’s no wonder that Knight has single-handedly scraped a reputation as one of America’s most uncompromising and respected singer-songwriters through 23 years and nine studio albums. He’s done this minus fanfare and artifice. The native son of Slaughters, Kentucky (population: 238) only sings songs he believes. He also speaks only when he has a potent message.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Micky Dolenz is an actor, singer, director, producer, writer, radio DJ, inventor, and all-around performer extraordinaire, and stands tall as a paragon of taste and accomplishment in the rough-and-tumble world of show business and entertainment. Micky is best known as a vocalist and drummer of the 1960’s pop legends The Monkees. The Monkees not only achieved great success as a TV show, but also as recording artists; selling in excess of 65 million units, and achieving worldwide success. Their first four albums all reached the number-one position on the charts and launched three number-one singles: “Last Train to Clarksville,” “I’m a Believer”, and “Daydream Believer.” The group’s first five albums also went platinum.

Micky has also released several critically acclaimed solo albums. The Monkees also re-grouped for a 50th anniversary album in 2016. Micky toured in 2019 as part of the It Was Fifty Years Ago Today tour, a celebration of The Beatles White Album with Christopher Cross, Todd Rundgren and Joey Molland of Badfinger. In March of 2019, he released the award-winning Dolenz Sings Nesmith on England’s 7a Records. Micky has also toured extensively on his own and earlier this year fronted Micky Dolenz Celebrates The Monkees, which was a sell-out at every stop. Later this year, he will be releaseing the book I’m Told I Had A Good Time: The Micky Dolenz Archives-VOLUME 1.
