    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

From an early age, Michael Cleveland heard old-time and bluegrass music at local jams and festivals near his hometown of Henryville, Indiana. His grandparents hosted regular bluegrass gatherings at the American Legion, and at age four, he began playing the fiddle. He attended the Kentucky School for the Blind in Louisville, where he learned the Suzuki method of violin. While he practiced the violin at school, he played fiddle at home.

Cleveland began playing professionally after he graduated from high school, first with Jeff White, later with Dale Ann Bradley and Rhonda Vincent. However, Cleveland had always dreamed of leading his own band and in 2006, he formed Flamekeeper, seven-time recipients of the IBMA’s “Instrumental Group of the Year” award, including Josh Richards, Nathan Livers, Jasiah Shrode, and Chris Douglas. In addition to touring with his band, Cleveland has performed with a legendary list of bluegrass greats: Bela Fleck, Tommy Emmanuel, Billy Strings, Vince Gill, and more.

Widely considered the bluegrass fiddler of his generation, Cleveland has been recognized 12 times as the IBMA’s Fiddle Player of the Year and in 2018 was inducted into the National Fiddlers Hall of Fame. His recording Fiddler’s Dream was nominated in 2018 for a GRAMMY for Best Bluegrass Album, and in 2019, he won a GRAMMY for his album Tall Fiddler. The same year, Cleveland’s amazing life of adversity and achievement was featured in the documentary film Flamekeeper: The Michael Cleveland Story. And in 2022, he was awarded the National Endowment for the Arts Heritage Fellowship.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

This dynamic show features hits like “That’ll Be the Day,” “Peggy Sue,” “Oh Boy” and “Rave On”. Zachary Stevenson presents Buddy Holly so perfectly that we seem to be watching a genuine replica of the nerdy, and hip young Texan. He has the guitar licks down and his superb vocals make him equally comfortable with the sweet ballads or on-the-edge rockabilly songs, including Holly’s trademark hiccup and energetic dance moves that often brings the audience to their feet.

Above and beyond the music, Stevenson weaves in engaging stories about Buddy and of his personal experience in the role, including his travels to Iowa, New Mexico and Texas seeking a greater understanding of the man and his music. He gives context to the songs and pays tribute to Buddy’s friends - The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, Dion and Eddie Cochrane - and delivers a dynamic show uniquely his own.

Having led sold out productions of the Buddy Holly Story across Canada and the US, with well over a thousand performances under his belt, Stevenson is a true showman who exudes charm and knows how to connect with an audience. In 2018, he was awarded a Jeff Award in Chicago for most outstanding lead performance in a musical. His bandmates Kieran McCabe and Shaun Whitley accompany Stevenson in this tribute when they are not out performing as The Oh Boys, a vintage-inspired power trio performing pop, rock, folk and doo-wop.

You will be singing along to “Teenager in Love”, sighing over “True Love Ways” and dancing to the “Hand Jive” as Stevenson’s performance transcends the generation gap and proves Buddy’s music is timeless and will “Not Fade Away.”

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Founded in New Jersey in 1980, The Smithereens have been creating electrifying, original rock 'n' roll for 44 years. Jim Babjak (guitar) Dennis Diken (drums) and Mike Mesaros (bass) grew up together in Carteret and lead singer, the late Pat DiNizio, hailed from Scotch Plains. The band paid its dues in clubs all over the NYC tri-state area from Kenny's Castaways in Greenwich Village to the Court Tavern and Stone Pony in NJ. As The Smithereens' fame escalated, they were in heavy rotation on MTV and appeared on The Tonight Show, Conan O'Brien, and Saturday Night Live. They've since performed on stages coast to coast from the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles to the Meadowlands Arena in NJ to Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, and internationally from Europe to Australia. Tour mates have included Tom Petty, Squeeze, The Pretenders, Lou Reed, and Ramones, among others.

The Smithereens' take no prisoners sound, reflecting their Garden State roots, has resonated with fans worldwide over the course of 17 albums and 2500+ live shows. Their most recent release, COVERS, features 22 of the bands favorite songs first recorded by other artists. They've also inspired generations of musicians, including Kurt Cobain, who counted The Smithereens as a major influence on Nirvana.

With the 2017 passing of Pat DiNizio, the surviving members have decided to persevere and carry on their shared musical legacy. Using guest vocalists including Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms and Marshall Crenshaw, they continue to entertain and rock fans all over the U.S. and the world!

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Since arriving on the music scene in the first wave of 1960s psychedelia, the name Soft Machine has become synonymous with musical experimentation, instrumental virtuosity, and inspired creativity all animated by a truly adventurous, progressive spirit. Although the band's personnel has changed over the years, their commitment has remained consistent. Some of the very brightest stars in the British jazz firmament have served in the ranks of this revered musical institution. Robert Wyatt, Mike Ratledge, Elton Dean, Hugh Hopper, Karl Jenkins, John Marshall, Roy Babbington, Allan Holdsworth, John Etheridge, Theo Travis, Kevin Ayers, Daevid Allen, Andy Summers, Jack Bruce, Gary Husband, and many others, have all focused their own unique musicality to help shape the band’s sound and personality.

The current lineup (John Etheridge, Theo Travis, Fred Baker and Asaf Sirkis) continues to defy categorization. Their latest album, Other Doors, sees them move seamlessly between hardcore improvisation, pop-tinged ebullience, muscular rock, and visceral jazz along with shimmering electronica and ambient overtones. Its release in 2023 is the end of an era as the last studio session with legend John Marshall, who joined the group in 1972 and at the age of 81 has decided to retire. Marshall’s departure now leaves John Etheridge, who joined the group in 1975, as the last surviving member of the group with roots in Soft Machine’s 1970s heyday.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Jesse Dayton is a towering figure in the realm of Outlaw Country, a master storyteller who effortlessly blurs the boundaries between genres and disciplines. Over the years, Dayton’s collaborations have spanned a diverse array of artists, from blues sensation Samantha Fish —his partner on the Grammy-nominated Death Wish Blues — to icons of country like Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and Glenn Campbell, rock rebels such as Guns ‘N Roses’ Duff McKagan and Glenn Danzig, and even visionary horror filmmakers like Rob Zombie. Yet amidst this vast spectrum of work, Dayton’s solo albums stand as a testament to his refusal to be confined by genre, earning him recognition as a roots-rock renaissance man.

It’s been three decades since he released Raisin’ Cain, his debut album that reached Number 1 on the Americana charts. For some artists, that timespan would amount to an entire career. For Dayton, it’s just been prelude to the here and now. The Hard Way Blues isn’t a victory lap; it’s a rebirth. Crafted in the heart of Hollywood, the album stands as a testament to Dayton’s esteemed career, meticulously blending his rowdy spirit with timeless influences and showcasing his versatility and artistry in an irresistibly melodic collection of American music.

Six years have passed since Ghalia Volt quit the busking circuit of her native Brussels, Belgium for the heady throb of New Orleans, where she made her first ripples as the livewire frontwoman of local heroes Mama’s Boys. That hook-up led to Volt’s acclaimed debut album Let The Demons Out (declared “an irresistible force” by Classic Rock) and to Volt’s next stepping stone - to the hill country of Coldwater, Mississippi, for sessions with Cody Dickinson, Watermelon Slim and Cedric Burnside on 2019’s Mississippi Blend. That album broke into the Billboard Blues Chart Top 3 on three separate occasions. Volt’s latest album, Shout Sister Shout!, was recorded at the fabled Rancho De La Luna studio, in Joshua Tree, California, a place where rock ‘n’ roll mythology is made. Volt has returned from the wilderness with the album of her career.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Manticore - the tribute to Emerson Lake & Palmer is coming to Sellersville Theater celebrating the 50th anniversary of Brain Salad Surgery, performing hits from this album along with long-established favorites like “Lucky Man” and “Fanfare For The Common Man.” as well as some deep tracks that are sure to keep you on your toes. Manticore precisely recreates the studio versions of ELP opuses in a way that recalls their spirited stage presentations from the 70s and brings to life the music from the band that set the bar for all subsequent rock concerts and festivals. Welcome back, my friends, to the show that never ends......

Manticore is a tribute show paying homage to the legacy of the incomparable 70s symphonic rock band, Emerson, Lake & Palmer. They faithfully reproduce the music that, in the early 70s, had a powerful and vital impact on the burgeoning music scene at the time. They took classical pieces by the masters - Bach, Tchaikovsky, Bartók, Copeland, Mussorgsky, Ginastera, Brubeck - and reinterpreted them in a way that the original masters could never have foreseen. ELP infused them with the wilder elements of rock ’n roll - distortion, rhythm, power & flash. They established a foundation for future bands such as Yes, Rush, Kiss, Queen & Dream Theater and raised the bar for rock bands, enticing them to go big or go home by performing this music in concert halls, stadiums and arenas worldwide.

Widely regarded as one of the foremost songwriters of her generation, Suzanne Vega emerged as a leading figure of the folk revival of the early 80s when, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, she sang what has been called contemporary folk or neo-folk songs of her own creation in Greenwich Village clubs. Since the release of her self-titled, critically acclaimed 1985 debut album, she has given sold-out concerts in many of the world’s best-known venues. Known for performances that convey deep emotion, Vega’s distinctive, “clear, unwavering voice” (Rolling Stone) has been described as “a cool, dry sandpaper-brushed near-whisper” by The Washington Post, with NPR Music noting that she “has been making vital, inventive music” throughout the course of her decades-long career.

Bearing the stamp of a masterful storyteller who “observes the world with a clinically poetic eye” (The New York Times), Vega’s songs tend to focus on city life, ordinary people and real-world subjects. Notably succinct and understated, her work is immediately recognizable - as utterly distinct and thoughtful as it was when her voice was first heard on the radio over 30 years ago.

Suzanne Vega will be joined by her longtime guitarist, Gerry Leonard, performing a career-spanning show including favorites like "Tom’s Diner," "Luka," and more!

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Mr. Gone is a 4-piece ensemble exploring the groove based music of early electric jazz fusion, focusing on the groundbreaking music of Herbie Hancock and Weather Report. On their current tour, Mr Gone is celebrating Herbie Hancock’s Head Hunters album. Originally released in late 1973, this season marks the 50th anniversary of this jazz funk masterpiece, the first jazz platinum album and one of the largest selling jazz albums in history.

Comprised of 4 full length compositions that sound deceptively simple on the surface, the wealth of musical material gives the ensemble something to really sink their collective teeth into. The show is rounded out with material composed by Wayne Shorter, and focuses on his tenure with Weather Report and other deep cuts from his extensive compositional catalog. Performances are currently being booked through the remainder of this year and beyond.

Mr. Gone is the brainchild of Peter Furlan (saxes - Dizzy Gillespie, 10,000 Maniacs, Eddie Henderson, Frank Foster, and more) Neil Alexander (keyboards - Mahavishnu Project, Corey Glover, Alphonse Mouzon, NAIL, and more), with Bryan Kopchak (drums) and Charlie Dougherty (bass). Referencing the origins of the jam band movement, they connect the past with the future, opening a window on the historical significance and influence of this music.

They have become festival favorites, consistently performing with some of the world’s biggest acts, in a world seldom traveled by your typical “tribute” band. Black Sabbitch were hand-picked by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne to open the inaugural Ozzfiesta and by Dave Grohl to play Cal Jam with Foo Fighters and Iggy Pop, after which the Foo Fighters shared photos of Black Sabbitch saying "we were spellbound.”

They have played multiple headlining sets at Psycho Las Vegas and The Maryland Doom Fest and most recently were chosen by Paul Stanley to play The 2022 Kiss Kruise. Nick Zinner of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs chose Black Sabbitch to headline his curated festval Bedrocktoberfest and legendary street artist Shepard Fairey had Black Sabbitch open his Black Sabbath retrospective, Never Say Die. Electroclash superstar Peaches recently sat in as lead vocalist with Black Sabbitch for a special two-night run in Los Angeles.

Southern Culture On The Skids has been consistently recording and touring around the world since 1983. The band (Rick Miller - guitar and vocals, Mary Huff - bass and vocals, Dave Hartman - drums) has been playing together for over 30 years. Their musical journey has taken them from all-night North Carolina house parties to late night TV talk shows (Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show), from performing at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan to rockin’ out for the inmates at North Carolina correctional facilities. They’ve shared a stage with many musical luminaries including Link Wray, Loretta Lynn, Hasil Adkins and Patti Smith. Their music has been featured in movies and TV, parodied by Weird Al, and used to sell everything from diamonds to pork sausage. In 2014 the band was honored by the Southern Folklife Collection at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with an exhibition featuring their music and cultural contributions. Their legendary live shows are a testament to the therapeutic powers of foot-stomping, butt-shaking rock and roll and what Rolling Stone dubbed “a hell raising rock and roll party.”

    Artist Website

For a band to not only last beyond 30 years together but keep scaling more imposing heights, it’s going to need a sense of purpose. In the case of The Woggles, the seasoned garage rockers passed that milestone with a renewed rallying cry to move ever forward!

Fusing pure rock and soul from vintage sources into their own singular sound, The Woggles lay it down hard and loud but with more majesty than recklessness. Their beats and riffs are as strident as Manfred’s swagger and strut onstage. Having played in the past with Johnny Cash, Link Wray, The Zombies and nearly every garage rock group worth its salt, as Meredith Ochs wisely advised on NPR All Songs Considered: “Go see a Woggles show. It will change your life.”

From Woodstock to The Last Waltz, The Band has been a central figure in some of rock and roll’s most iconic moments. Now, over half a century after the release of their debut album Music From Big Pink, the music they created has proven to be timeless. Their pioneering blend of country, blues, rock, and folk music served as a template for what we now call Americana. Though they are long gone from the stage, their sound and spirit live on in a group of musicians based in Rockland County, NY - not far from Woodstock, The Band’s musical and spiritual home. Begun in 2007 as a labor of love for the music of The Band by co-founders Jack Kraft and Gary Solomon, The THE BAND Band has been on the road for 16 years, from local clubs and joints to theaters and festivals across the country.

The THE BAND Band is the only nationally touring group dedicated exclusively to music of The Band, bringing it to life with authentic, true-to-form renditions of their extraordinary repertoire. From hit songs like “The Weight,” “Up on Cripple Creek,” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” and deep cuts from their classic albums, to the historic collaborations with Bob Dylan, The THE BAND Band delivers with the passion and commitment for which The Band was renowned.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Remember when you used to listen to an entire album? Classic Albums Live does. The greatest albums from the 60s and 70s are recreated live on stage, note for note - cut for cut.

Producer Craig Martin says, " All of our focus is put into the music. We perform the works of the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin the same way an orchestra performs the works of Mozart. We don't bother with imitation or impersonation. The bands are big - upwards of 11 pieces. We research these albums and go to great lengths to reproduce each and every sound live. We never use tape or computers. We'll bring in a children's choir, a sitar player, a string quartet, whatever it takes to get it right."

Rumours is the eleventh studio album by Fleetwood Mac, released on February 4, 1977. The second album by the well-known five-piece line-up was birthed in the tense atmosphere of John and Christine McVie's divorce and the break-up of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks' relationship. Drummer/band leader Mick Fleetwood was also in the throes of a marital breakup at the time. Despite all this, the pressure was on to create a follow-up to the commercially successful album Fleetwood Mac (1975). When Rumours was finally released, it became a worldwide success selling over forty million copies worldwide. It features tracks such as “Don’t Stop,” “Songbird,” “Go Your Own Way,” and the band’s only Billboard number 1, “Dreams.” It won a Grammy Award for Album Of The Year in 1978 and was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2003. Being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress, the album was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry in 2017. In 2020, Rumours was ranked 7th in Rolling Stone's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time.”

Expect to hear Rumours in its entirety, and for the second set, more Fleetwood Mac hits from Classic Albums Live!

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Mike Tramp, legendary White Lion singer, songwriter and front man stepped out on his own in 1995 and began his 29-year long solo career. With twelve consistent solo albums to his name, you can easily say that he has stood his ground. Tramp has never steered off his path and is charging forward with confidence, and no desire to look back.

After much request to bring the White Lion songs back to the live circuit, Mike Tramp re-recorded 12 of White Lion’s greatest hits, and also gave it a natural facelift, since it had been close to 40 years since the songs were originally written and recorded. The album, titled Mike Tramp - Songs of White Lion, was released in April 2023 to rave reviews, with many saying how fresh and today the songs sounded. Some even said it sounded like a brand-new album. The album brought Mike Tramp’s White Lion around the world and included two tours of the USA in 2023.

One thing led to another, and this August, Songs Of White Lion Vol. II will hit the streets followed by a two month tour across the USA with Mike Tramp’s White Lion. The hair trend of the decade has since faded, but the music lives on, stronger than ever.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Great Southern, the Dickey Betts Band and Dickey Betts and Great Southern were founded back in 1977 by Dickey Betts, when the Allman Brothers went on hiatus. The original band included such notable luminaries as Dan Toler, Frankie Toler, Warren Haynes, Alan Woody & Johnny Neel. Officially blessed by Dickey, today’s Great Southern has some of the original members from back in the late 90s when Dickey reconstituted the band. The group includes David Stoltz on bass, Mark Greenberg on Drums, Matt Zeiner on Keys and Vocals, & Kris Jensen on Sax. Having rehearsed, toured, & recorded together for the last 20+ years, the band has an authenticity and chemistry worthy of carrying on the legacy of the music of Dickey Betts & The Allman Brothers Band.

Fronting the band is Country Slide Guitar Master Lee Roy Parnell who has his own unique performance history with the Allman Brothers Band going back over 30 years. Rounding out the band is his protégé, Brian “Willie” Williams. Together, they bring back the sounds of Duane Allman and Dickey Betts in the late 60’s prior to Duane’s untimely passing. Filling out the band is Santiago Moyano, a percussionist, arranger and Bolero singer, originally from Argentina.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Even though Roomful of Blues’ lineup has changed over the years, the band has always been one of the tightest, most joyful blues ensembles in the world. Currently an eight-piece unit led by guitarist Chris Vachon, the band has never sounded fresher or stronger. Singer Phil Pemberton brings his sweet and soulful vocals and adds another bright new dimension to the jazzy, jump-blues musical roots. Their winning combination of jump, swing, blues, R&B and soul remains their calling card, as does their ability to fill the dance floor. Along with bassist John Turner, trumpeter Carl Gerhard, drummer Mike Coffey, keyboardist Rusty Scott, baritone and tenor saxophonist Alek Razdan, tenor and alto saxophonist Rich Lataille, Roomful keeps on rockin’.
