ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Pink Droyd was formed as a Pink Floyd 'super tribute'. The group is composed of veterans from other successful Pink Floyd tribute bands including Fort Wayne’s own Earthbound Misfits, Boston’s Pink Voyd, and The Lennon Brothers. Lead vocalist Kevin Quandt said he’d only planned for the band to play one show, but it was such a resounding success, he knew he’d have to assemble a more permanent touring team.
Now, with a combined Pink Floyd tribute band experience of more than 70 years, Pink Droyd attempts to recreate the experience that was Pink Floyd, bringing the look, feel, and sound of those mesmerizing shows to audiences, both young and old, around the country. Their show is both accurate to the Pink Floyd music and visually stunning with their robotic, intelligent light show, digital video accompaniment (including the Pink Floyd traditional circular video screen), and amazing laser show. This all-star cast brings the music to life at a time when the appreciation of Pink Floyd has never been greater!
