ABOUT THE ARTIST:
For nearly forty years, Richard Marx has carved out success as both a professional songwriter and recording artist. He cranked out gilded rockers throughout the 1980s and 90s like “Don’t Mean Nothing” and “Should’ve Known Better” while topping the charts with the ballads “Hold on to the Nights” and “Right Here Waiting.” He’s also found success as a producer, penning material for *NSYNC, Josh Groban, Barbara Streisand, Kenny Rogers, and more. Marx has written a No. 1 single in each of the last four decades, an accolade previously only reached by Michael Jackson, and he’s sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. His latest album, Songwriter contains twenty tracks, crossing four different genres.
“Every year that I get to continue writing songs, making records, and doing concerts all over the world, I become more grateful,” said Marx. “The Songwriter album is a longtime dream of mine finally realized, and I still have a bunch of cards up my sleeve.”
