Strange & the Familiars

Pull back the veil and enter the Strange World, where black cats prowl through your nightmares, ghosts sing in the wind, and people with dark gifts walk among you.

On the surface, everything is as it appears to be, but when you look closer you’ll see the strange and unusual have been gathering, people who sometimes see the world as it truly is, drawn together by forces unseen. At the eye of the storm sit three black cats who have been sent to walk with humans, and help protect them from their own fears.

Releasing their first full length comic book in collaboration with PDX artist Jay Reynolds, Strange & the Familiars invite you to immerse yourselves in the musical, visual, and literary Strange World.

Flying Caravan

Flying Caravan is a wanderlust troupe of musicians fueled by the magic of adventure. They create whimsical soundscapes that fuses genres such as psych folk and trance inspired jazz. Colorful instrumentation and soaring vocals sew a flowing tapestry of mystical tones and rhythms. Their heart-centered music focuses on honoring nature and elevating into the expansive freedom of flight in mind, body, and spirit. Flying Caravan just released their debut self-titled album which is now out on all streaming platforms.

Jet Black Pearl

Hailing from The Netherlands, the untamed and inimitable Jet Black Pearl spent many years in the south of France before settling in Portland in 2014. She has performed on more than a thousand stages all over the world.

Jet is a creator of alternative worlds filled with surreal humor and wry observations. Smartly wacky, her songs are a mad hatter's European party with a funky attitude. With her loop station, she records grooves and layers of flute, vocal percussion and harmonies while squeezing one hot accordion.

'A formidable force of music, and truly has to be seen to be believed' (Three Weeks, Edinburgh Fringe Festival).
