The Delines w/ special guest Scott McCaughey - Christmas in Atlantis 7-inch Release Show

The Delines are thrilled to announce their very first ever Christmas 7-inch, Christmas in Atlantis, releasing December 23 at Mississippi Studios. This is Christmas Delines style, not your ordinary Bing Crosby sleigh ride number. C.I.A includes fighting sisters, political knife throwing, possible inappropriate three-way hookups, drug-addled youth, a despondent grandmother, and of course plenty of drinking, disparaging remarks, and general family discord and violence. The Delines may have written the most normal Christmas song ever! Designed by our graphic guru the great Aaron Draplin, this is a special edition of 1000 on black vinyl. Also included is Cory Gray's tremendously beautiful San Leandro Lament for that post-holiday hangover. 

 

The Delines are led by vocalist Amy Boone (The Damnations TX), with keyboardist and trumpeter Cory Gray, drummer Sean Oldham, bassist Freddie Trujillo, and guitarist Willy Vlautin (Richmond Fontaine). Vlautin is no stranger to critical acclaim in the US, UK, and Europe, enjoying cult success and rave reviews from the likes of the New York Times, Uncut, Hot Press, Rolling Stone and Mojo Magazine, both as a novelist with six books under his belt, and as the former front man of alt-country outfit Richmond Fontaine.
