Motherlodge presents The Everybody Band in Concert
The Everybody Band concert on Friday December 23 will support flood relief efforts in Eastern Kentucky and feature a special holiday set by Louisville's ever-festive Love Jones, as well as performances by The Get Down and other guests tba.
The Everybody Band perform the unbridled live sets stuffed with the sounds and songs of Louisville and Kentucky music history, classics and hits made by bands and artists of the region. Over 100 years of music history are covered in an Everybody Band show, from NRBQ to Chilton Price, from Freakwater to Midnight Starr, all performed by a stunning cast of musicians and singers who are, one might say, classics themselves.
Members of the Everybody band will include Jimmy Brown, Sheryl Rouse, Bill Dean, Sherry Edwards, Lacey Guthrie, Ari Hatzell, Tristan Morrison, Roscoe Goose, Parker Hall, Mauriece Hamilton, Todd Hildreth, Brett Holsclaw, Tyrone Cotton, Keith Lankford, Scott Mertz, Ryan Nottingham, Ray Rizzo, Chris “Roadie” Rodahaffer, Scott Carney, Shadwick Wilde, Chuck Sharp, Mike Smith, Gwennan Thomas, and Caleb Adonay Leiva Vasquez.
For 30 years Love Jones have let the good times roll with sharp latin/funk/pop/rnb songs that fill the dance floor. Love Jones have enjoyed a musical profile that Wikipedia says "was prominent among the "cocktail nation" bands of the early 90's". The band continue to write and record. Love Jones has performed on Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon shows.
A portion of proceeds will go to Kentucky flood victims.
This show is sponsored by WFPK Louisville and Bearnos Pizza.
