DNU National Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center, Innovations in Flight Event, Saturday, June 18, 2022

Please note you are reserving tickets for the Innovations in Flight Outdoor Aviation event at the Udvar-Hazy Center, located in Chantilly, VA.  

Although tickets are not necessary for visiting indoor exhibits of the Udvar-Hazy Center, timed tickets are required for touring the outside area where aircraft will be on display for the Innovations in Flight Outdoor Aviation event. 

All tickets last until 3 pm, regardless of entrance time. Once a visitor is admitted to the outside event, they are welcome to come and go outside throughout the day, until 3 pm when the event closes. The Museum remains open until 5:30 pm. 

Reserve your time slot for Innovations in Flight. Admission is free. Here's how to register:  
• Step 1: Choose a time slot on the calendar. 
• Step 2: Select a time slot from the drop-down menu and click Confirm Time Slot to continue. 

There is a 5-minute rolling, safety briefing that must be attended before being allowed outside; you may experience periodic lines when accessing the event. Bring your water bottles; the Museum will provide water refill stations. 

Important Conditions:  Passes for Innovations in Flight are for visitors’ personal use only and are valid only for the stated visitor(s), guest(s), date, and time. Passes may not be sold or transferred. Reservations that violate these conditions may be cancelled. 

Face Coverings:  Face coverings are not required, but all visitors are welcome to wear masks inside and outside during their visit. 

Personal Belongings: We encourage you to limit the number of personal belongings and bags you bring into our facility, as they will be subject to a thorough search. Limiting items you bring will increase your speed through security check points.
